Great tutorial buddy it did me justice. I always print strate to dvd or up load to internet sites. I just brought the canon xl2 and i was curious about importing to tape!
July 9, 2010 at 11:55 pmTry to leave the clip at it’s full length but move it to another video line please be sure to lock all the other clips. Now you can change the speed with out your other clips moving. After doing so you will want to trim your clip now or simply make it a independent clip and the speed will remain that speed and then trim. I hope this helps you out. Darnell!

I’m having some issues when trying to change speed of clios in fcp 5, no matter what i try i just cannot get it done. Every time i change the speed, the clip plays another section of the clip, plays slow, stops and freeze the image (in this case the sound continues till the end of the clip, or even show another clips images….

Unable to complete command. A conflict occurred during trim operation.
But, when I make it longer it lets me do it!!!
Any recommendations???
